Remove any raffia, ribbons, bows or wrapping before burning.

When wax starts melting sometimes the wick seems to ‘grow’. Please check flame a few minutes after lighting.

If the flame is too high the wick will need to be nipped back a little. Extinguish flame. Nip the tip of the wick.

Light your wick again. Check flame height. It seems that a 1/2 - 3/4 inch flame (that is not dancing)

will produce a perfect burning candle. IMPORTANT: Wicks may need to be trimmed

during your burning session. Wicks are not self-trimming and may need to be trimmed

periodically while burning. It is very important that you occasionally check your candles flame.

Here are a few tips to help you achieve the longest burn time possible without wasted wax.

A rule of thumb for any candle is approximately 1 hour per inch of candle. Once the wax has melted

across the entire surface of the candle it can safely be extinguished. Make sure a candle becomes liquid

across the top before extinguishing to ensure a candle that will not burn down the center leaving wasted wax

around the jar. If you desire to burn them longer, the melted wax should never exceed 1/8" - 1/4" deep.

Extinguish the candle and let the candle cool completely before relighting. When extinguishing a

candle use a wick dipper, if possible. There is no smoke involved in dipping a wick.

It is waxed and ready for lighting the next time you want to burn your candle.

Do not use if glass is chipped or cracked. Burn on a protected, heat-resistant, level surface,

away from flammable items. Avoid drafts. Keep out of reach of children and pets. A wick should be clipped

to a bout 1/8" - 1/4" before lighting. Keep candle free of wick trimmings, matches or other foreign matter.

Container may become hot; never handle a burning candle. Keep wick centered and do not

allow flame to come in direct contact with the container. Discontinue use when 1/2" wax remains.

Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Failure to follow instructions could result in a fire hazard.
